Sacred Movement Yoga

Yoga is a spiritual practice in action. By entering the body through the breath, in movement; we meet the divine, the sacred, the soul. We do that by opening the organ closest to the soul - the heart. Sacred Movement Yoga is practiced from the heart and not from the head. Beautiful.

All yoga classes involve flows. Yoga flows are postures linked together then repeated in a cycle. This creates a way to go deeper into the body with each successive movement; which helps the body slowly open. The rythym stimulates circulation, warms up muscles, opens the joints, and it gets the synovial fluids going as the body opens.

Flow yoga or vinyasa is an evolving form of traditional Hatha yoga that integrates breath with movement, strength with flexibility, awareness with alignment and your practice with your daily life.

Vinyasa is the sanskrit term for flow which is a creative, elegant and powerful style of yoga linking postures with rythmic breath and a meditative mind. Flow yoga classes are a celebration of life, awakening the very essence of who we are.
